Hearts on Fire - Full Spectrum
Why seven? Dawson paints in a “Series of Seven” which is a chromatic adventure through the color wheel (or Chakra points). Letting the eye gaze across the full spectrum brings a sense of continuity and completeness to your experience. Each series, in its entirety, is best suited for a long hallway, reception room, adding continuity to individual offices in a suite, or above a banquet table. Yet each of the seven paintings is strong enough to stand on its own. Each giclee on canvas is 24x36, mounted on strong stretcher boards with the canvas wrapping around the edges for a contemporary look that can be framed or hung unframed.
The term giclee comes from the French word “Le gicleur” meaning nozzle. A giclee is a high-quality reproduction on canvas or archival paper. This ink jet spray process creates vivid colors that authentically match the original. The canvas is on strong wooden stretcher bars and is museum wrapped (the painting goes around the sides). It can be framed or hung unframed for a contemporary appeal.
